My small book shelf Infinty speakers were just not giving me the bass I so desired so I went back to my roots to look for BIG speakers! My receiver is an older Onkyo with no input for a woofer, hence my bass problem. I use to have these big paramount speakers that worked great with my receiver but after the divorce, my ex got them so my search was on.

I happened across these Cerwin Vegas. Big and solid with good weight. Sitting on a carpeted floor with four big dogs in the house, I needed weight! The long and short of it is, yes, I am rockin again just like the old days. Great price, free shipping, bangin speakers. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I ordered a pair of the VE-12's based on the specifications available at the Cerwin Vega web site and at Amazon. I am not in any way disappointed. They sound great at low volume or loud, playing rock, jazz, or classical. The bass really comes out, but not in an overwhelming way. Overall the sound quality is balanced and very pleasing. I would recommend these speakers to anyone would enjoys listening to music, and wants speakers that can play it as it was meant to be heard!

I've had these speakers for a couple of years now, and they rock. I use them in my basement, hooked up to an older Onkyo 100 watt receiver, and they sound awesome. They deliver excellent highs, and outstanding bass. I listen to all types of music. These are the best 2 channel speakers I've ever had, and I've had speakers that cost 3 times as much. They're a great value now for under $200.

Cerwin Vega has done it again. The VE-12 12" 3-Way Tower Speaker is perfect in every way. The tweeter delivers astounding highs, the midranges deliver perfect mids and the 12" woofer deliver powerful lows.

I have always been a big fan of Cerwin Vega, they are a company that backs their product and puts out exceptional work, so for the price you can't go wrong. I recently changed my home around and wanted a good set of speakers to replace or add to my Cerwin Vega bookshelf speakers, which are over twenty years old, I searched on Ebay, Amazon, and so forth. I was recently at a pawnshop and came across a few Cerwin Vega tower speakers.

Anyway to make a long story short, I purchased the pair of 12" Cerwin Vegas which are in perfect condition despite some cosmetic issues, which does not bother me since the TOTAL of both speakers were under $200.

I am very happy looking forward to purchasing a Cerwin Vega subwoofer for my vehicle.

Most modern day speakers are designed for home theatre set ups and few companys anymore make decent speakers for old school 2-channel stereo use. But if this is what your looking for then Cerwin Vega is the way to go. These speakers will turn your house or room into a Dance Club/Concert Stage. They have that big, loud intense club sound (due in part to the huge woofers and CV's special proprietary designs and technology.) These are true STEREO speakers and ideal for the music lover not looking for a home movie theatre set up. Cerwin Vega is still powering the sound systems of clubs and concert halls everywhere, so they know how to make serious speakers. They are also simple and easy to set up, heavy and durable. These will rock your house, and shake your walls while still sounding very clear and crisp. And base is so deep a sub-woofer is really not at all needed. Just these two speakers and a good Stereo receiver (Yamaha RX line is a good choice) and you have your own night club.
