A quality, durable and handsome case...
(5 out of 5) by mommy's always shopping on Jan 7, 2008 (the OC, california)I am absolutely glad I didn't waste my time or money on cheaper portable DVD cases, though it was very tempting. I bought this over 2 years ago. This case is just made of the best quality (I love CaseLogic products) and has held up to my 4 year-old's constant fiddling with (it is HIS portable DVD player after all). He loves to carry it around, like to doctor appointments or restaurants, and people comment how adorable he is with his little "briefcase". I just wished they sold it locally so I could have saved money on shipping charges from the Amazon merchant. Still, I have no regrets whatsoever and am glad that we have a unique DVD case that get people asking where they can purchase one like it.

Pros: Very sturdy-looking; nice portability; Price (I got the case for like $12.99 + shipping bringing the total to about $20 bucks on amazon.com; but everywhere else it's sold for $49.99 (not worth it))
Cons: No real system to hold the top portion of the DVD player inplace; except for two plastic pieces of removeable velcored corners (kinda like corner pieces to hold your scrapbook pictures in place) that didn't fit my particular DVD player's thickness, and it wasn't adjustable. I tried everything but could not get it to be stable enough. The bottom portion of your DVD player wasn't really held up with anything except for the middle velco strap. Not reliable enough to put in the back seat of a car where your precious lil ones sit.
All in all, the case is a great case if you only need it for carrying your DVD players around; otherwise, I would stay clear of this product.
