A real solution to a common problem.
(5 out of 5) by Allen C. Huffman on Nov 4, 2006 (Des Moines, IA USA)Lousy camcorder audio is the thing that makes "home movies" sound like home movies, just like shakey video does to the "look" part. This thing is great. Once I got it, it let me not have to stand so close, and reduced the background noise. When I interview people, having it clipped to me is enough to pick up those around me. I even used it for a music video for some dialog sequences ("Alicia" by Hold For Swank, check it out on YouTube.com). It's great and the distance is fantastic.
Downside: You can only have one plugged in at a time so I can't use it and the IR lamp at the same time. But, hey, what can ya do.

Sony Bluetooth Microphone
(4 out of 5) by David Pierce on Jul 15, 2009I actually haven't used the product yet, as I purchased the mic before the Sony camcorder, and haven't made a decision on which one to buy. On the Sony website all the fair priced camcorders are no longer avail. They are only selling the high end camcorders on their website. So I may need to find a used one via Amazon.com. But the product came highly recommended, I've used it before in a speaking engagement, and that's why I decided to buy my own. The box came very professionally wrapped with all the accessories and manuals! I'm very pleased thus far!

Blue Tooth Wireless Microphone

I've used it inside the guys jacket, excellent sound.
I've also used it hanging from the belt, because the groom was wearing a military uniform, good sound but I had problem with static from the jacket rubbing against it when the groom moved. It would need to be a little bit smaller for me to have used it inside the Military jacket, it caused to much of a bulged. It has a cover to cut down on any static problems but unfortunately it doesn't work hanging from the belt with a heavy jacket rubbing against it, still get static but other than that great item!!!
