External Modem
(5 out of 5) by Westly Williams on May 8, 2008 (Winter Harbor, Maine)The area I'm using it in has old poor phone lines. This hooks up consistently at 52k. And seems to produce a very stable connection. I got luck and found exactly the right modem. Exactly what I needed.

56K Modem
(5 out of 5) by Norman Foster Jr. on Jul 23, 2009The ActionTec 56K dial-up modem, is excellent product. It is very fast, connects quicklly, and the signal is very strong, a good product, I would reconmend it, if you use a 56K modem.
