very good unit for the price. i have used it for over a 16 months and liked it so much i purchased a 2nd one for my third vehicle. i used it primaraly in the city an it has some false alerts but its very good for the money you spend on it.

Good price, works good, lots of options, and warns about pretty much every detection system on the road. What more can you ask for?

I recently bought this radar/laser detector, and it fails to work as advertised. I ensured that all bands were enabled and that settings were according to my preferences, setup was very easy. After encountering two firetrucks and one ambulance (all with strobe lights on), the device failed to recognize any of these. While driving down the interstate, a policeman was set up at a speed trap outside of his vehicle shooting cars with his radar gun. I was going the speed limit and he shot me straight on, no alarm. After encountering over half a dozen more cops with guns inside their cars, the Cobra XRS-9330 didn't detect any of them.

I have not gotten any tickets since purchasing this detector (but that's not with credit to the Cobra), so I am not just a bitter reviewer who blames the device for his ticket. However, if you're looking to detect automatic opening doors, buy this immediately! Apparently the Cobra ONLY works for false alarms. Avoid this piece of garbage at all cost.

Bought as a gift. The person I gave it to set it up immediately and uses it daily on a commute 1.5hrs. Excellent product.

I am not sure if I am happy with this detecter. When I first ordered this I was sent the wrong thing. Amazon did a great job getting me what I ordered right away. But the product Yeha not too sure about. As of today no I am not happy.
