I had owned many car stereos since my fascination with car audio started in 1989. My tastes has evolved over the years, but one thing remains - quality. I have installed and used my 5th Premier deck now. Sometimes the stereo lasts longer than my cars. Installation gets easier every time. I have always been impressed with the functions that Pioneer puts into their car decks. They are so versatile. This model in particular. It is perfect for the beginner as well as a seasoned enthusiast as myself. The new adjustments for your sound quality is beyond my expectations. The dimmer adjustments are very cool, the OEL graphix are sweet, and to bring the Q factor into a deck EQ is FANTASTIC! The options that I now have surpasses any and all previous cd players. Of course the one thing that always stands out for me about the Premier cd players is the difficulty getting it to skip. Anytime I am playing a cd while airborne in my car, it never skips when I land. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!

This receiver was quite good, i owned it for about two years, until i replaced it with another Pioneer (DEH-P600UB), i liked everything from this model, from the OLED display to the sound shaping functions, such as BMX and COMP. The graphic equalizer is flexible and allows full control of the Q curve.

I decided to replace it because it didn't have a USB port, which the DEH-P600UB does have it.
