Cool blue backups

(5 out of 5) by Vivek Hurry on Jun 20, 2007 (Mumbai, India)
I've got two of these little guys. They're perfect as portable backup media. Loads more space than a thumb drive, small size, plug and play (I use them on a MacBook Pro), no external power required, sturdy, stable and look smart as heck. What's not to like.

Go get yourself one. Or two.

I'd like to see a green one, though with 250 Gb storage - that would make my day. Green day.

so much better than a usb key

60GB, always ready, no need to have a usb cable or power supply, it will work in Europe or Asia. I love this cool device. LaCie and Karim did a good job that I love to show around.

Why are people still buying big, noisy, basic hard drives.

Excelent

great product at a great price.
The HDD is really small and that was the most important factor for me.
It is also strong and rugged (it fell n the ground so often).

I was concerned about the speed but it is fine, no problem for me. I am not a heavy user streaming video, I use it to store work documents, backups and music. I use it on a regular basis since I bought it 2 years ago.

The integrated USB cord is really really useful.

Great Size, Shape and perfermance, this is my fourth ...

Simply put, I first had the Pink 30Gig Version, in fact I had 2 and ended up useing them so much I ended up giving them away to others who were so impressed with them as well.

Here I go again another two, will try to keep these ones. Comes with an extension cable to make attaching easy, but most often I use without the extension and find it very easy to plug in.

Super strong, super safe and very transportable.

A very cool little hard drive

Just got it today so no long term review yet, but I say that I plugged it into my XP box and it lit up and was ready to go, nothing else needed. Downloaded over 2000 pics and a whole bunch of other stuff in less than 10 munites. Feels good in the hand and the little USB plug tucks itself right into the box. Very cool.
