I purchased a Bose Dock for my Daughter and it is very good but did not last long with her abuse. I tried an Altec Lansing inMotion system and the sound just did not live up to my standards. The iRhythms A-303 was my next, and final, purchase. It has great sound and volume if you want volume. The Bass, Mid-Range and Treble are all there and crystal clear. It makes the iPod sound impressive to anyone who has never heard an iPod.
The structure appears to be solid. Save your money, buy this and you will never want another docking speaker system.

I bought this item as a gift - I was actually really surpised at the sound. At first glance you would think there's not much to it since it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. However the sound quality was really good. A good size for a bedroom or office.

Had read reviews of various speaker systems for iPod as I was getting my husband one for Christmas. This came recommened through one review and has lived up to its reputation. It is a fabulous system. Easy to use, very VERY good sound and not too expensive.
Would recommend it to anyone.

Like other reviewers (not on Amazon) I found that the docking connection breaks with very little effort and is absolutely irreparable with maximum effort.

It is not worth your money for the quality of design or craftsmanship it represents. Look elsewhere.

This system does not support charging, a definite lack in an otherwise nice system with very good sound.
