Just get it and you won't be dissapointed for the price...

(5 out of 5) by K. Breaux on Apr 10, 2006 (LOUISIANA)
I received these today (ordered 3) and am quite pleased with the look. For the price you will not find anything quite this nice. Perfect to add a little elegance to any room in you home. All 3 work wonderfully and took just a couple minutes to set up.

Great Lamp, Can't Beat the Price

(5 out of 5) by A. Chaitovsky on Jul 5, 2006 (New Jersey)
Assembly took about 3 minutes (no tools - just screwing the pieces together). The lamp is very simple, uses up to a 100 Watt Bulb, has a 3-way switch, and seems to work very well. No complaints at all.

Suprisingly nice!

(5 out of 5) by L. Hurlburt on May 11, 2006 (Gig Harbor, WA United States)
I bought these against my better judgement. Boy was I wrong. These are suprisingly nice! You can't go wrong for the price. I might buy a couple more for another room.

Outstanding value

(5 out of 5) by 4562951413 on May 11, 2006
For less than $7, this lamp is an outstanding value. It's only slightly lower in quality than one I bought for five times as much.

Three good qualities: (1) The base and the lamp pole are extremely stable -- better than many lamps of this type. (2) The lamp will accept either standard or fluorescent light bulbs (those with a standard-bulb base), although some fluorescent bulbs will show over the top of the shade. (3) The plastic shade is thick enough to hide the bulb itself but thin enough to allow plenty of light to shine through; this lamp is therefore brighter than those that simply bounce light off the ceiling.

One bad quality: The plastic shade is just a tiny bit uneven on top, but that's not even noticeable unless you're looking very closely.

I have no idea how they can sell this lamp at such a low price, unless it's made by Oompah Loompahs.

Cheap, ugly lamps.

(1 out of 5) by K. Derenzo on Feb 10, 2006 (Columbus, OH)
I ordered 2 of these lamps because there were 3 reviews that were all very positive. No one who has seen this lamp could honetly say that it doesn't look cheap. It's very short for a floor lamp. I can see down into the lamp when I stand up. They looked so bad that I threw them out.
