I bought this adapter to replace the spiral corded one that came w/my RoadMate 360. The cord length on the OEM adapter was too short and the adapter would often come loose from the RoadMate. When I went to look for a longer one on Magellan's website, I saw they only had the same short adapter cords and they were all out of stock. Decided to look for one on eBay and Amazon. Amazon had the one I was looking for: long, non-spiral. This new adapter cord is great, the cord length is excellent and the connection tight. I'm very pleased!

I bought this to replace the original cord which had worn out. It was actually sturdier than the orginal and worked just as well.

Much thicker and better contructed the the original. With the original, the end the went into the cigarette lighter popped off within 2 weeks of our purchase. We used some folded paper and glue to get the metal fuze centerd and making contact again and actually kept it that way since it was hardly ever OUT of the adapter and shipping it back would have been a hassle. This cable is put together so much better, I don't see any chance of this happening again. The cable itself is thicker and seems longer than the origianl, although the original has a "curly" part that might be where the length is lost. Either way, this seems to be a much better quality part and works flawlessly.

Works great. The fuse kept blowing in our old one and we took a chance to see if this one would work. It did work, but the problem still remained. We discovered the antenna was a little loose. After we tightened the antenna, we were on the road again!

All of a sudden, my original car charger for my Magellan RoadMate stopped working. Couldn't find a replacement on the Magellan site. I saw this and gave it a try. Received as promised. Works like a charm! Much cheaper than purchasing a new magellan.
