Good Subwoofer

(4 out of 5) by Daniel L. Ring on Dec 1, 2009 (Columbia, SC)
Well, I bought this sub with extremely high expectations after reading the rave reviews by people on the internet and people recommending it. Don't get me wrong the subwoofer is loud but it is not as loud as I thought it was going to be, maybe it could be that I'm expecting way to much sound for just one sub, although I would definately recommend this sub mainly for what you get for the price.

hits just right

these subs r for anyone who wants nice clean(loud) bass at the cheapest price cant find these subs at best buy(only the 4ohm) or any major retailer sounds f^@king great in my grand am just make sure u got the right amp 4 these bad boys im going with 2 alpine mrp-m500 max power to each speaker and this will rumble u in places u never thought ud want rumbled but all in all surely the best speakers for the price but if u got the extra money id go with the JL audio 12w3v3's they r just better built

Great Subs

(5 out of 5) by Joshua Black on Jun 9, 2009 (Chicago, IL)
These subs are great! I've had them in my trunk for about a year now and they still sound amazing. I have them in a ported box wired to a hifonics brutus 1200w amplifier. Im giving each sub 600 watts and it still sounds great. Definitely a good buy.

I am running two of these @2ohms powered by a Kicker zx1.1000 and they slam hard!

Perfect

I've had this for several years now and I haven't had a problem with it at all. It hits really hard and I don't even use it to full capacity because it can be too much bass at times. It hits really deep/hard, I have it in a ported box and it sounds very clean. I'm powering it with a Kenwood KAC amp, running more than 500w RMS. I shouldn't be doing that, but still it hasn't blown anyway.
