Best of the best (as usual)!!

(5 out of 5) by Stephen Larsen on Oct 31, 2006 (Central Michigan)
This is my third Foarm GPS case. The first (rubberized cloth) houses my Garmin GPS 72, the second (black rubber) protects my Garmin 76Cx, and this one will hold my new Garmin GPS 76CSx. If I could, I would give this product 6 stars.

These cases are unbelievable. Geocaching in Canada this summer I took a tumble on the rocks--the case protected my GPS as I watched it "bounce" 3 times on the boulders. Not a scratch on my GPS and it still worked like a charm. These cases allow you to grip your GPS so that it is next to impossible to let it go. They are easy to clean in the rare case that they do get dirty (they are definitely NOT dirt magnets like the others).

I've had the Garmin case and numerous neoprene cases--they are good BUT, the Garmin case has to be opened and the GPS removed to use it. The neoprene cases gather dirt fast, and the clear plastic face covers "yellow up" rather quickly. The GPS is difficult to put in the neoprene cases, and difficult to remove, and they just do not provide the protection.

I love the long lanyard--no more wrist straps--for those of you who prefer the wrist strap, the lanyard can be shortened up and used as such.

The cases are made to "last a lifetime" and I am sure they will outlast the life of the GPS receiver I put in them. In fact my last GPS purchase was based on the fact that I could get this Foarm case to put it in.

I spoke with Richard at Foarm last week and he informs me that they are in the process of making a case for the Garmin eTrex--hip hip hurrah to you for that move. Hope you make one for the Garmin GPS 60 series soon as well (my wife has this unit).

If you can afford a GPSr, you can't afford NOT to have the GREAT protection these Foarm cases offer in protecting your investment.

The plastic lens covers provided just don't work for me, so I do not use them--the thickness of the case will protect the glass screen from damage in most cases--it has in all cases so far for me!!

A Thick, Beefy case, yet very Lightweight. and Grippy.

Not your ordinary case. This thing is made with some sort of molded laminate (not fabric)
but still absorbs shock.
Great fit (Screen aligns perfectly).
superior protection, floats and dries quickly.
Very grippy, heavy-textured rubber, yet lightweight.

Best GPS case made

(5 out of 5) by C. Sanchez on May 2, 2006 (Albuquerque, NM, USA)
I have a Garmin 76s, I have used other cases they always seemed to slip away from the viewing area of the Garmin, and they also had a clear plastic window that looked dirty. The Foarm case solved these problems it really fits well and the stick on screen protector is crystal clear, makes it a pleasure to use my GPS again

Rugged, Lightweight, Excellent Protection

(5 out of 5) by Dennis Paulsen on Feb 2, 2006 (Tucson, Arizona)
I can be rough on my toys sometimes, but the Foarm Molded Rubber GPS Carrying Case has protected my Garmin 76CS GPS unit in some of the most extreme situations. Whether I'm bushwacking through the desert in search of a geocache, routefinding my way up the side of Ragged Top mountain in search of Bighorn Sheep or hiking offtrail in the mountains in a heavy downpour, the Foarm case has protected my GPSr and kept it safe from scratches, dents, water, bumping against rocks and all the other things I put it through. The case itself is lightweight, offers heavy duty protection and is an outstanding accessory for your GPSr investment. I highly recommend this product. (I only wish they had something for my Canon digital camera!)

Why didn't they think of this before?

I run a scuba diving shop and use a Garmin 76 GPS. I've been using the GPS mostly in the deck mounted cradle supplied by Garmin then one day I saw this Foarm case and bought it. I still use the deck mount cradle but when I take it out of the cradle I put it in the Foarm case. The case provides all of the protection of a carrying case with the added feature of being able to use the GPS in the case. The non skid surface hugs the deck and the foam liner adds shock protection. I use the lanyard to secure the case down and the peel and stick screen protector was a bonus I wasn't expecting. A few of my freinds who own Garmin GPS units, saw this case and said they were getting one. I highly recommend it.
