Replacement battery not as advertised, but it works fine
The service provided by the company who ships the batteries is friendly and customer-centric. The batteries arrived sooner that I expected. The company who shipped the batteries responded without delay to my questions.
The battery shipped could be stuffed into my cordless phone with a little maneuvering of the plug-in cable. So far (a few weeks after first installing the battery), the batteries are working fine.
The description says "Vtech Communications #00102 #27910 Replacement Battery by Vtech". However, a phone call to VTech confirmed that VTech does not stock replacement batteries for many discontinued cordless phones, including this battery.
The description should not mention "VTech" as it implies that the battery is made by VTech. The description should explain this clearly. As a reassurance to the purchaser, the company selling these batteries should say: "The batteries that are shipped can be returned for a full refund, including return shipping, if they do not fit or if they do not work. Even if the battery is not 100% identical to the original, try one out first and allow it to fully charge according to the package directions."
The product shipped is NOT, in fact, an exact replacement. The batteries shipped are not physically identical to the original. The instructions on the package suggest that the battery should match exactly the original for it to be considered a replacement. However, the battery shipped could be stuffed into my cordless phone with a little maneuvering.
If you own a four-phone cordless set, before ordering four of these batteries and paying the ridiculously high shipping charge (based on per-item, ignoring the fact that it costs the same postage to ship one or to ship four), consider buying a new cordless phone set from VTech. When I called VTech, they were sorry that they didn't have a replacement battery and offered a 15% off discount code. The prices for some new VTech cordless phone sets are pretty low.

Great Price
I bought an ATT phone with 3 handsets. Within less than a year the batteries started to die. I went looking for replacement 27910 batteries and in the brick-and-mortar stores they were almost 4 times the cost as on Amazon. Can't beat the price, awesome deal!!!!

battery hold charge is average
I bought this product to replace the existing batteries in my wireless hand sets. When the phones were new I could get 2 weeks between charges. As the batteries became used I would get 1 hour between charges. So I bought these replacement batteries. I recieved them quickly within the week. I had 2 with a charge and 1 dead on arrival. I charged the DOA for 24 hours and it held the charge for 3 days. The others I ran down for 1 day and then recharged. They get 3 days with their charges also. 3 days is better than an hour but a far cry from 2 weeks.

Great battery
I was skeptical about ordering batteries on-line as I never seem to get the right one. However, these batteries were perfect - slipped right in and my phones work great.
Great but shipping is outrageous
I ordered four of these replacement batteries and they came as promised and work great so far (had them in about 3 weeks) so I guess I can't speak with authority on the battery life but no reason to think they won't last. The only issue I had with this order is the ridiculous shipping and "handling" amount. I believe it was over $10 for something that came in a little cardboard mailer that could not have weighed more than half a pound. It also took well over a week to receive them. For $10, I should have had them in a couple of days! Even with the shipping price, they were the best deal on the internet and do work just fine, which is most important!
