PNY 1GB All-terrain

(5 out of 5) by Nesha Arjoon-mohammed on Aug 5, 2006 (Trinidad W.I.)
I would like to fist say this is an excellent product for the price.
I purchased a 128mb pny flash drive about a year ago on my trip to the USA, (I am from Trinidad in the Caribbean) and it worked excellent. I was still running windows 98SE at that time and PNY had the drivers for it on their site. I was very easy to download and setup. So when my needs surpassed the 128 I decided to get the 1GB. I searched amazon read reviews and checked prices on all brands, just to realize I already had the best product for my needs.
NOT ALL BRANDS SUPPORT 98SE
I told my friends of my findings and they also bought the PNY brand.

I have been using it about 1 month now and it works great all the time.

PROS
1. Supports windows 98SE
2. It casing is a full body rubber which makes it excellent for the construction industry.
3. Comes with a USB extension cable.
4. Key chain with TAB to attach its cover when in use.
5. Attractive design.
6. Responds every time it is pluged in.

Cons
1. The cover is a bit difficult to remove as it is attached dirctly to the USB housing not the case.
2.It is a little wide to fit a USB port in front if the port is recessed in the PC's case. BUT THERE IS AN EXTENSION SUPPLIED

A GREAT LITTLE 1 GIG DRIVE

(5 out of 5) by Tommy E on Aug 3, 2006 (Shreveport, LA USA)
I've had this flash drive for about a month now and really like it! The Amazon title for it doesn't make it obvious that it's a 1 Gig drive - but it is. The drive has a little LED light on top of it that flashes during data transfer - kinda cool. The rubberized exterior is durable and the heat and humidity of North Louisiana haven't effected its performance at all. Of all the drives I looked at this one was the only 1 Gig drive that has a holder for the cover when the drive is in use. It also comes with a dark blue lanyard - Nice! Best of all - It's reasonably priced!

Convenient Flash Drive

(4 out of 5) by S in Los Angeles on Jan 3, 2007 (Los Angeles, Ca USA)
I've had this drive for about four months, and it's been very dependable and handy.

I use it to swap files between my wifes Mac and my PC. She has a scanner, which I don't have, so I'm often scanning files, and then use this flash drive to transfer it to my laptop.

Nice, rubber finish, convenient tab to store the top when it's removed... overall, very handy drive! Also copies files very fast.

Just what you need, even if you don't know it

(5 out of 5) by James W. Picht on Nov 30, 2006 (Louisiana, USA)
This is just a terrific little flash drive. I lost my last flash drive and wanted one that would go on my key chain. The rubber jacket around the thing keeps it nice and safe when I sit on it or drop it and when my keys clatter around it in my pocket. It works perfectly. It's too fat for the USB slots in the back of my iMac, but it comes with a cable that lets you plug it into the tightest space. It fits just fine in my office computer and my laptop. I love it and am going to buy my wife one for Christmas. (Well, jewelry too. I may be a nerd, but I'm not a stupid nerd.)
