I got this monitor at $170 and it was a great deal. I was looking to upgrade my CRT monitor because it took up way too much space in my dorm room. I wanted something that was good enough quality enough to do some graphic design but nothing too high-end because I was on a budget. I personally don't like widescreen monitors, preferring the standard resolution sizes. This monitor fit all my needs. It arrived in perfect condition, and even though it is lightweight it has proven to be quite durable (though I wouldn't recommend dropping it or anything) I don't know if I would recommend it for people who plan to watch a lot of movies or try to use it as a TV monitor, because I didn't buy it for that purpose, but I have watched a few DVDs on it. This monitor will fit the needs of the average PC user, and may even surprise you with the quality
