This is a usable bag if used for just a laptop and it's bare essentials. Not much space for anything else. It won't stand up on it's own either so lean it or lay it down. Considering it's price it's very adequate.

The Purchase of a Laptop is an investment and also quite expensive.carrying one around without a carrying case is almost inviting disaster their very delicate. one drop and you can either scratch it dent it or worse crack the screen. its like carrying a newborn baby,not kidding.The Targus 15.4 case is the best purchase you can make to protect your laptop,unequivocally speaking!it also has room for all your other accessories like the AC adapter cables etc.its also very handsome and appealing it has that professional look!!

there are smaller bags from Targus at Best Buy and Circuit City for twice the price i paid for this one. i use this with my 14" laptop and it is amazing. a number of compartments make carrying notebooks and your computer a breeze. anyone looking for a messenger bag for their laptop should get this, it is an amazing price when you look at the other options. it isn't fancy leather or anything, but who needs that anyways. very nice construction and materials. i have no complaints.

For the price this bag does the job. It's not super plush or amazingly designed but it certainly works. I've only had mine for about 3 months but I use it everyday and thus far no signs of wear. My only beef with it is that the photo shows additional folder pockets, but they aren't actually on the bag. [Amazon, you have to get it together and revise that pic.] For me, the main pocket plus side pocket doesn't keep my stuff organized enough and the little outer pockets are not very useful. Still, I'm not looking to replace it any time soon.

For the price, it is a very good product. It does all I need it to do-- hold a laptop.

Perhaps a little more space and padding would have been helpful though.
