Compact Silver Keyboard

Jan 9, 2007 - By S. Selbst (Salinas, CA)

Very nice little keyboard. I had tried some of the wireless ones but they would stop working after a few months and require battery replacement once a month. I have had this little keyboard for six months with no problems. They keys are a little load, at least the way I type but it is very durable and I highly recommend this product.

Great little keyboard

May 28, 2008 - By D. W. Moore (Portland, OR USA)

I wanted a small keyboard that I could plug into a USB socket. This meets my needs. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product.

Unless you are a heavy handed typer, avoid this one.

Aug 27, 2008 - By Don't telephone (Lower Hudson Valley,NY)

In a few words, this keyboard is a piece of crap. I have ordered two keyboards from Amazon suppliers that have both been a disappointment, and this is the second. Key placement is great for me and this is why I ordered it. I absolutely don't have room for a full size keyboard under my docking station, therefore I must have a compact keyboard. This one fits that bill, but after only a few days use, it's in the recycle bin. The keys must be pressed very deliberately or you miss characters (like an old manual typewriter). The keys are silent except for the return bar which has an annoying click. I should have known from the low price that this was too good to be true. I won't return it because the postage would be as much as it is worth. Chalk it up to buyer's remorse. No more keyboards for me from Amazon. Most of the pictures don't have enough detail (but this one did) so you can see the key placement, so I'll either go to other sellers or wait until I can find one at an office supply store.

Doesn't register key presses

Nov 15, 2008 - By W. Chin (USA)

I wish I had heeded the warning of the "Unless you are a heavy handed typer, avoid this one." reviewer. Its true. This keyboard does not register key presses and I have to constantly go back and retype the missing letters. So unless you are a slow and heavy handed typist, you should pass on this keyboard.

I had purchased the "A4 Tech Mini Slim Keyboard without Numeric Keypad" at the same time and the responsiveness of that keyboard is satisfactory. I'm not crazy about the silver colored border but at least the keys register when pressed.
