I had been looking at a lot of different switchers and this one was exactly what I was looking for and came at a really low price. It's perfect for my use as I switch to all HD and my Denon received doesn't switch HD Signals. So I am using this to bypass the receiver with the video signal and just run the audio through the stereo - still have great digital 5.1 Surround and now have up to 1080i video.

I recommend this product to anyone in need of component video switching where the tv or monitor in use does not have what is called "jump to" source control and the only way that you currently switch between your sources such as, DVD, cable/satellite box, game, you need to press your tv's selector button till you get to the desired input. Now, with this switch, you can select the desired input at will either by using the buttons on the switch box or with the supplied IR remote. This switch is even compatible with the Logitech Harmony advanced remote controls and is in their equipment list as well. Hey installers, it makes for a great integration addition. Hope this helps.

I needed a switch to connect all of my components and computer to my older rear projection HDTV. This product has preformed as advertised and put me in the market to search for a wireless key board and mouse for my computer. It will then be, toes in the air in my easy chair.

This product performs exactly as advertised and does it well. Switching between inputs is smooth with no audio clicks. The ability to switch optical and coaxial digital signals (as well as analogue) with the component video is a plus. My only complaint is the microscopic remote which always feels in danger of being lost down the sofa or into a crack in the floorboards!
