Works great and does what it is supposed to do

(5 out of 5) by Vidit Bhargava on Oct 31, 2009 (Memphis, USA)
I bought this cable to connect my Lacie triple interface external hard drive to my Vaio's iLink port.
It connects properly at both ends and works fine. It is durable and thick so is little stiff too but that is fine as long as its sturdy.

Would definitely recommend it.

10 foot - Not 6 foot

(2 out of 5) by J. Shreve on Oct 6, 2009 (Afghanistan)
Description states 6-foot
Package and actual length was 10 foot
Other than that it works fine

Not Functional

This one didn't work at all for me. I then got a different cheap cable that worked fine: FIREWIRE DV CABLE CAMCORDER FOR CANON SONY SHARP JVC

It looks like the prices, vendors, pictures and possibly products change regularly on these cheap cables (for the same link) - so caveat emptor.

Excellent

I've received exactly what I ordered (4 to 6 pin firewire cable) in great condition.

Does Just What It's Supposed To

I bought this wire to export video from my miniDV cammie to my PC. The wire has worked absolutely perfectly every time I have used it. Yes, the cord is wide, and somewhat rigid, but come on, who cares? This is an inexpensive piece of equipment, but you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this item.
