Darn diddly arn great phone!

Mar 13, 2006 - By Mutineer (Corona, CA)

I hate phones in general. It seems they don't always work, or the sound is muddy. I've used everything from a cheap $10 Uniden, to the $100+ Lucents, and have been happy with none.

The KX-TG5433M has changed all that for me now.

It works perfectly, and the sound is clear, thanks to special circuitry that you'll want to activate after you get the phone. It is easy to do, just follow the programming menu on the phone handsets. After charging the batteries overnight, I had all three handsets up and running in a few minutes. Aside from the voice enhancement technology, my other favorite features are the ringer, intercom and the speakerphone features. The ring can be changed to either different pitch, or I changed it to a song. It is much more pleasant to be interrupted so, I hate those loud high pitched rings. The intercom is and excellent way to communicate in a large household. It is easier to ring each of the other two handsets sometimes rather than tracking up and down stairs. The speakerphone is very clear also, I can set it on my desk and have a conversation without it sounding poorly to the calling party. It is an awesome feature when a relative calls and the whole family can listen and talk.

Bottom line, this is one of the better things I've bought in my lifetime. I'm incredibly pleased with it, and think the value surely justifies the cost.

Works great with a Pre-N computer network.

Oct 11, 2005 - By R. Reynoso (Iowa)

The old phone system also ran on 2.4 GHz.
The pre-n is suppose to use a different channel but there was all kinds of interference.

The base-unit is in the basement, and one handset in on the second floor, or two stories up, and it works great.

I like the intercom, especially since I can have the ringer turned off, and the intercom is still heard.

And the speaker phone on the handsets work.

Great bargain

This is a nice purchase at a great price. I like having the three phones throughout the house. A convenient way to keep a phone close by and still charged. Recommend this phone system!
