The cable that came with my 650 broke the first time I used it - one of the wires in the connector broke off so it will sync but not charge - useless.
No problems with this cable or the wall/car connections. Gread deal for the price.

very nice Palm accesory
(5 out of 5) by J. Jojishvili on Dec 15, 2008 (NJ)Palm is (I guess was) so cheap their USB cable that comes with the phone is not charging, there was little slot on the back of cable to stick charger wire into thus making abysmal configuration and forcing clients to by accessories.
I bought this for car charging purposes. works just fine, yes the only downside is hotsink button (actually omission of it), but if you plug it to computer from palm software you do have that functionality and I would not take one star because I am lazy to use my mouse for couple more clicks instead of one touch :).
works fine with all configurations as advertised, car/wall/PC. material does not seem chipo, so I would recommend it!
