In a pinch for space?

Mar 20, 2006 - By Joe G (Cincinnati, OH USA)

I have an 06 Scion xA, and wanted to mount my Skyfi2...no place to put it on the dash, so I found this...and it works GREAT! You can bend it around to stay out of the way of the passenger and it is an EASY install...if you're tight for space in our car, and want to mount something, this'll do the trick...

Everything advertised. A very good product - definitely recommended.

Feb 25, 2006 - By CK (USA)

The only thing I would change to improve the product would be allowing wires to somehow be run in a concealed fashion down the shaft. But otherwise, it's a very stiff gooseneck that stays in place however you set it, and the mounting bracket accommodated my Tiburon's seat as well as my girlfriends RSX seat.

XM Radio Mount

Mar 8, 2006 - By Dean E. Gustafson (Northern Minnesota)

Installed in minutes in my Suburban and my Chevy Avalache. It works great and is not in the way of my power seat movement. I will be buying another for my boat.

Solves a real challenge of mounting XM radio

Mar 29, 2006 - By T. Thompson (South Florida)

Works great in my '99 Acura TL. Since there is almost no place to mount the XM receiver without compromising the passenger airbag or blocking an AC vent, this was an outstanding alternative. And it looks great too. Took a little effort to figure the best way to adjust the mounting bracket, but once discovered it went in great. I'm getting one for my wife's BMW and my son's Acura RSX.

Good product, but be careful

Jun 23, 2006 - By shad0w77 (NY, USA)

I bought an '06 Eclipse GT and didnt want to go near the dash so I bought this product. The bracket hit the track of the seat when trying to move it foward. After slightly bending the "L" of the bracket out a bit, it worked perfect! No drilling, no broken dash clips, and installs in 15 mins. As for hiding the wires, you can run them inbetween the internal steel gooseneck and the plastic covering. Be careful not to crimp or strip the wires (especially near Sirius bracket), it's a tight fit, but it works.
