Never buy one of these

I purchased one for my wife for Christmas, 2006 and shortly afterwards, it stopped working. My wife sent it in for repair at our expense, and it has already stopped working again. To add insult to injury, Audiovox now insists that we pay for repairs, and this is only April.
I will NEVER buy an Audiovox product again.

Good picture but bad sound!

I had it turned up full blast on an airplane trip and still could barely hear the sound. It just does not get loud enough! The battery life is short and you cannot watch a video and charge the battery at the same time. I would recommend a different brand if you are going to spend the money on a portable DVD player.

never rec'd item, still trying to fix problem
