Great quality, good value

May 13, 2007 - By Gadgester (New York)

Amazing. 1GB of DDR2 PC2-4200 costs $180 at Best Buy, Staples, etc. Even on sale they cost almost $80 or $90, and those stores carry no-name brands. Crucial is made by Micron so the memory quality is great. I bought this for my Dell Dimension 8400 after the Samsung RAM it came with burned out after just 13 months (right after the one-year warranty went out!). Given my past experience with Crucial RAM, I have no doubt that this will last a long time.

Note: PCs that use DDR2 RAM almost always require the RAM be intalled in pairs, so be sure to get 2 or 4 each time. This kit has 2 512MB modules.

Under $50 1GB Memory upgrade kit!

Jul 22, 2007 - By Aldrin Anastacio (Los Angeles, CA)

I bought this 1GB memory kit for my Dell Dimension E310. It was very easy to install and now my computer works better than before. If I have went with Dell's memory, it would have cost me more than $100 plus shipping.

Perfect Fit

Jun 29, 2008 - By Ronald D. Weinstein (Georgetown, Texas)

Memory fit and worked immediately with no problems. Great (best) price anywhere and fast shipping. This is name brand - crucial - memory, not some off brand.
