Quality is fantastic

Oct 24, 2008 - By K. Andrews

This is a fantastic cable that allows you to plug your MP3 player into your home stereo. You just plug in the headphone jack to your MP3 player, and then plug the other end into available RCA jacks on your home stereo. I have been using these for over a year to play my MP3's on my home stereo. If your sound output is not quite up to par, you might need to adjust the volume on the MP3 player to a high level and then reduce the volume on the stereo to eliminate distortion. There are also different lengths available, and I also have the 10 ft set, which provides a longer length so I can sit on the sofa and scroll through songs. These would work just as well for a portable CD player too if you don't have a home CD player on your stereo.

Cost a little more, but heavier quality than the other sets.

Dec 9, 2006 - By Wiseguy 945 (Omaha, NE)

This set of moster cables, as with most monster products, is about double of what other cable connectors are. So why buy the more expensive set? Well, this item really does have a better quality to it. I like that the cable to the RCA ends is on and splits at the adapter closer to where it hooks into the stereo. its one cable to route. Many of my older RCA cable start to pull appart from eachother, not going to happen with this set. Check it out. If you have a good sound system, I like to buy better cables, but if not, some of the other sets are ok as well.

Does what it is supposed to

Simple product that does what it is supposed to. The split is kind of bulky but definitely improves the longevity of the cord.

I wanted to use my iPod on my home stereo system. This product is just what I needed. The local stores were not able to help me but I found it here.
