Great little mouse! Works with Vista (32bit).

It's cool to look at AND functional -- how often does that happen?

Things I noticed:

- I simply plugged it into the USB port; Windows found it and it worked instantly and flawlessly!

- The wheel has good grip on it (unlike my last Targus mouse.)

- When it is just sitting there, the 7 colours fade in and out. Now, I was thinking this would be distracting and too bright, but I found that they are actually soft and subtle. It so "Mac" (I have no other way to describe it.)

- The sensitivity seems to be higher/better than my previous mouse. But, I would rather have to turn down the sensitivity than have to turn it up (only to find it's at the max already.)

- As the colours rotate through, they stop rotating when you use the mouse, and resume when you stop.

If you are looking for a travel mouse, or one that will make other coworkers jealous, this mouse is for you. Even though one of the two I purchased died after a year (no reason; just gave up the ghost one night) I would still HIGHLY recommend this mouse!

TARGUS KALIEDOSCOPE OPTICAL MOUSE W/7 CLEAR FOG LIGHTS

This fun little light-up USB mouse came with the laptop I got my grandson for his birthday, but I saw it first. Too bad. I spend hours on my laptop at work each day and this "mini-mouse" is much kinder to my arthritic hands than the larger standard one.

Not quite perfect

I was looking for a small low profile mouse similiar to the one that came with my Mac but for a smaller than Mac price. The feel is good but the drawback is the stiff cord. The cord is way too inflexible and gets caught and yanked as I use it- very annoying.

Great Product confortable fit

So not even the Targus website does justice to this mouse. I was expecting a matte black mouse but turns out its super glossy and very confortable to the hand it has very nice contours for being a simple mouse. For 20 bucks this is definetly a good buy

I have both the laptop and desktop versions of this mouse, and they are wonderful. Responsive and fun to watch LOL.
