Easy to read, keeps time during power outages... nice enough that I may buy one for myself. My only item on the wish-list -- I wish it had a "gentle wake" slowly increasing alarm tone. This one is quite loud.

The red numbers show up great at night but doesn't illuminate the entire room like some clocks we have owned in the past. We like this clock so much we are considering ordering two more just to have for backup in case something happens to the two we presently own!
