Excellent Replacement
(5 out of 5) by Kevin Mills on Mar 19, 2006The battery came with a two backs in order to snap on the one that matched the bottom of your laptop. It snapped on very easily and has worked very well.

Crappy cover

Bell on May 31, 2009 (Beckley, WV)The battery seems to work fine and is an inexpensive replacement, but the battery comes with two interchangeable battery covers and the one I had to use doesn't snap very tightly onto the battery. The cover will pull off when you try to remove the battery. It's a PITA.
This needed work when I got it.

Then the cover on the bottom of it doesn't cover the whole bottom. If I hadn't needed the battery when it arrived I would have immediatly returned it. It does hold a 2 hr charge though so it is "useable".
Great battery at half the price!

The HP website was selling the brand name batteries for at least double what this one cost. It may be generic, but it works as it should. It also comes with 2 different covers for you to choose from in order to match your console. I highly recommend buying this product.
