Without a doubt the finest filter I haver ever used.

I tried many different filters at the store including the best B+W filters to try and find a filter that did not degrade my photos I took even when I pixel peep. The best of the B+W filters always degraded the quality of the photo but the Hoya PRO1s actually resulted in better photos!
I have some expensive lenses that I not only want to get the best out of but want to protect. And I want the image quality to be just like it was without the filter or better. Guess what it seems like the image is just a little better with a little better contrast and sharpness then without. You can't go wrong with the Hoya Pro1 Clear Protector filters.

Excellent "always-on" filter
(5 out of 5) by Adam M. Snow on Jun 21, 2008 (Boulder, CO USA)This is a great protector filter for use on any lens mounted on a digital SLR. I find it does not alter the image as some UV filters do. It lives on my Canon 17-55 IS and I am planning on ordering a 58mm one for my 70-300 DO.

Great Filter

Product arrived extremely well packaged. The filter is so clear it looks as if there's not even a filter on the lens. I recently did some wedding and safari shots and the quality of the pictures were not effected at all. I now have confidence that my lens is protected.

pricey buy worth it.
