Excellent value, Sturdy, Super-slim

(5 out of 5) by AreYouKidding? on Jul 24, 2007
I recently used this mount to install my Panasonic TH-50PH9UK 50" Plasma Display on the wall. (See customer images). Installation was a breeze. The instructions were easy to follow and the mount is very sturdy. It comes with a ton of different adapters and an easy-to-use compatibility guide so you can quickly match up your TV with the right adapter.

Highly recommended for someone looking for a low-profile mount.

UPDATE 10/03/07: I recently upgraded to a Panasonic TH-58PZ700U 58" 1080p Plasma HDTV. This mount worked like a champ using the thicker set of "bars" to attach to the panel.

helps flat screen be flat.

(5 out of 5) by Scott on May 7, 2008
I like this item, solid, etc. Numerious screems and connectors to fit just about anything.

When buying, keep in mind the thickness of the mount. By there nature, swivle, titling mounts will be bulky and hold screen away from wall. I wanted my new flat screen to be as close to wall as possible, because it's wall is in a traffic pattern of house.

I accomplished a little bit of down warn tilt to "aim" at couch by installing three or four metal washers between tv and brack at top two mounting points. This worked out really well.

Very well engineered mount

(4 out of 5) by Siddharth Jatia on Dec 1, 2007 (chicago, IL)
I bought this plasma mount for my Panasonic 42px75u TV. The mount came with a very well document guide to which helps you chose the right parts for your TV. The mount was up and installed in an hour. I purchase the Hiltie butterfly fastners from Home Depot instead of ordering them seperately from Peerless for installation on steel studs.

Pros:
1)Very well engineered
2)Installation instructions easy to understand
3)Flexibility in vertical and horizontal positioning
4)Choice of slim mount(less space b/w tv and wall) or not-so slim mount.

Cons:
1)Ability to lock the TV requires using a special rod tool which is provided with the kit but is not easy to use

Univ Flt Wall Mnt

(5 out of 5) by Zatoichi on Jun 24, 2007
Easy to assemble and hang a TV to a wall. Just make sure you mount the plate onto studs. Screw the 2 "bars" on the back of your TV and hook onto plate, slide left or right to center and lock down the the bars. (with the included extremely long allen wrench) Don't forget to hook up the cables before lifting onto plate.
There's enough holes to space out between any wall studs.
Included in the packaging was enough variation of screws for probably every TV out on the marketplace.
I had the TV up and ready to go in less than 15 minutes.
I also liked the price, slightly above $50 dollars. Nice for my pocketbook.

Slim Sturdy and Easy to Install

(5 out of 5) by Gagan Kumar on Dec 20, 2007
I bought this wall mount for my Samsung 46" LCD. Installation was a breeze. The kit comes with an assortment of screws and a look-up chart so you can cross refernce TV make and model with cortrect screw length. The wall mount was very easy to install. Took approx 20 mins for the wall mount to be secured to the wall studs + 5 mins to attach bars to the TV + 1 min to hang it up. Add another 5 mins to tighten all reamining safety screws.
One word of caution: I strongly suggest you carefully mark the location of the the wall studs. In my case, I wanted to hang the TV in the center of the wall but the stud positioins were not in my favor. As such, I had no choice but to install slightly to the left. The problem is you only have limited room to slide the TV on the maunt/rail to the right before you reach the end of the mount. If your TV allows it, go for the next size up in wall mount. That way, you have more room to sldie the TV left/right to center it in the wall.
