(1 out of 5) by JD on Jan 28, 2009 (Florida, USA)Purchased this kit based solely on my impressions of a different American International car kit. I was impressed with my first one, this one was abysmal. It's cheap construction will have you begging to be put out of your misery.
Less than two months after installation, the light for the defroster burned out. Then, the lights for the a/c controls shorted. After removing the kit, I see that the light bulbs they use to illuminate have overheated the wiring insulation, and melted the connections.
A call to the manufacturer was worthless, they basically said that they cannot do anything for me, that Amazon would have to handle it. Rather than deal with the hassle, I got a different brand from a local shop.
Cheap parts - stay away.

(5 out of 5) by MRFOUR Inc. on Jul 25, 2007 (Toms River, NJ USA)I installed this kit in a 99 taurus..It looks good and fit very well..You must buy the wire harness separate to make it a complete installation..The stock AC/Heater controls mounted on it ok..after a little triming of the plastic with a razor..Not a big deal..
