I think this TV is incredible. I've waited a couple of months now just to make sure no problems came up before I reviewed it.

I think the picture is incredible. With HD-programming,HD-DVD's, and HD-gaming the set performs up there with the best HDTV's that I've seen at my friends' parent's house. Sometimes I find myself incredulous at the image I'm seeing when I watch DiscoveryHD or InHD as they're both in 1080i-- truly a sight to behold. The only conern is that I assume many will not find the sound sufficient (as with most TVs), but for me, it works just fine and has plenty of power. If you're truly an avid entertainment person, you'll have a surround sound system though. The features are great as there is a 3:2 pulldown so that all regular channels come in full-widescreen, there's finer pixel dot-pitch to help with resolution and brightness, and it receives all three HD resolutions (480p, 720p, and 1080i).

If you are considering this set, I would hands down recommend it to satisfy your every expectation. It truly is a perfect mesh of top-of-the-line function and budget pricing.

Not much I can add to what others have said other than this set really is deep and heavy @ 88 pounds. One thing you should know though, it does NOT have a QAM tuner if you need that.

But for my purposes, its a great television!

I bought this television for $250 last year and I must say that it's by far the best television I have ever owned. It has clear picture and very nice sound quality. Most importantly, it's HDTV quality at a bargain price; why spend over $1,000 when you can buy this television for a fraction of the price. Highly recommended for all price-conscious buyers looking for a quality and reliable television!

If the 19.6 inches in depth doesn't hinder you, this is a slam dunk.
