(5 out of 5) by S. Elizabeth C. Winfrey on Mar 8, 2007That's what my computer is doing now, thanks to this RAM. I was weary of buying it at first because I had never heard of the brand, but so far so good. Nothing has broken. Now, I just need a new sound card (bleh).
Good mem

popped the memory in the other two slots for a total of 4Gig and powered up the machine.
I booted into Mandriva 2009 Spring linux. the system response is much snappier now, the machine boots in just over 10 secs. then i booted in Win XP and it didnt seem any faster at all, guess that shows that a bloated OS cant really use more memory to help it altho Win XP knows its there but it could be my system who knows. BUT the memory performs and would buy more if this helps anyone
