I love satellite radio but I would be cautious about buying an Xact unit. Xact products carry a 12 month warranty. At exactly 13 months the unit stopped working. Xact customer service informed me they were no longer responsible for the unit. Before buying this product search the web and you will find many "13 month" stories. Instead, I would suggest buying directly from Sirius.

I have had this product for over 10 months. Bought a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and wanted to add Sirius to it. I love it. I never listen to regular radio anymore. This particular product is great for me. I didn't need all the extra features and walked away spening about $80 which included the unit, activiation and first month fee. This unit fits perfectly and is easily readable. Sometimes when you drive into bigger cities, you have to find a different FM frequency to get on. Also, the signal will fade if you are in a garage or you drive under a series of overpasses(like freeway changes), but it's very quick. Other than those two minor things, it's a near perfect unit.

My Jeep Liberty Limited cane with a 1 year Sirius subscription and I really enjoyed listening to it when I'm in the car. Then, I saw this unit demostrated on QVC, and decided to get one for my Husband who's car isn't equipped with a Sirius capable radio. HE LOVES IT. I find and buy an INSIDE windshield suction cup type metal antenna mount which works beautifully. No receiption problems either. Anyway, I decided to buy one for my home....since we cant get good radio reception due to hills and trees. I bought the home kit and I can be anywhere in the house or outside on my deck, yet listen to SIRIUS through any stereo or portable radio!! NOW COMES THE BEST PART. I can take the unit onto our pontoon boat, using either the auto or home antenna and get my stations there too. Just plug it into the boat's ac port, turn it & your boat's radio or your portable radio/boombox and you're good to go. I'm so impressed with this little unit, I just bought my 3rd one.....to give it to my daughter for her car. Each additional subscription is only $6.99 a month! We drove into remote northern Ontario, Canada last summer for some fishing, and had reception the entire way.
This unit is so small and non intrusive, you'll love it.

Just an update let everyone know all 3 of my units are still working flawlessly!!! No problems with the radio, car & house antenna's or remote control.

I bought this Receiver for a few reasons first because it was so small and easy to move between the house and car. The other reason was because of the price I paid $49.99 for mine at a local best buy. It is a really nice receiver the only issue I would say that I have had is the connection in the house. That may not be an issue with the receiver, but just the antenna. Anyways I recommend this receiver to anyone looking for a Sirius Receiver.
