Most Helpful First | Newest First | + Sharegood little Sirius radio...
We bought this as a replacement to the original Sirius radio we had, which was the exact same model. The original died after about 20 months. We bought another of the same model because the wife was used to it and she would not have to learn a new radio and this unit is very affordable.
Has a neat "flip" feature where you can mount it right side up, or upside down and the display will electronically flip to read correctly.
Has a remote control. Nothing else remarkable. Decent radio.

Excellent Radio
I first owned one of these a few years back, and when it was stolen from my car I scrambled to find a replacement. The size is perfect for me - fits into the ash-tray opening. I have this plugged directly into my stereo via the 3.5mm jack, and the sound is flawless. It doesn't seem like they make these anymore since they're so hard to find, so grab one while you can.
Have had two of them.
I have had two of these receivers and am pleased with them both.
I rigged up both receivers and made them portable so I could just move them from vehicle to vehicle so I could listen in the car at work as well as take it inside and plug it into a 12 volt converter and listen on the radios in the house.
The first one I bought I would give five stars. The built in FM transmitter was very strong. I could leave it plugged into the car in the driveway and hear it on every radio in the house.
After two years of taking it from car to car and into the house, the receiver got a short in it so I had to replace it.
I purchased another identical receiver and activated it. I give this one 3 1/2 stars. The FM transmitter was so weak the radio of the car it was in couldn't even pick it up. This is not the companies fault though. The FCC said the old FM transmitters were too powerful so they (the FCC) forced the new FM transmitters to be made so weak they are not effective. I had to purchase a separate after market FM transmitter to make it work. This added an extra 12 volt plug to have to deal with.
When the current receiver I have goes bad I will probably buy another if they are still available.
One thing about Sirius. They have 'merged' with XM and are deeply in debt. Sirius is currently trying to get some quick cash by trying to strong arm subscribers. They are going to do away with the free Internet feed and will force subscribers to pay extra for it UNLESS subscribers buy at least a one year service contract paid in advance. Of course with the one year contract there is a free month. They also offer 2 and 3 year service contract and a lifetime service contract. In the small print of the lifetime contract however, it says the lifetime contract is not the subscriber's lifetime, it is the lifetime of the receiver. Seems to me Sirius is getting pretty desperate and are taking it out on subscribers by trying to make it look like a deal but it's actually a very corrupt way to do business.
I have been very pleased with my Sirius experience to date. I would caution anyone buying a new Sirius receiver to be very cautious and read the small print though. One example is there is a $75.00 disconnect fee if you cancel your extended service contract. Just be careful.

One of the best receivers on the market.
This is my 2nd recevier. It's compact, full featured and tucks away nicely on the sun visor. Good product.

Based upon other reviews I purchased this unit.
It was nice to know what I ordered is exactly what I wanted. This unit is compact; but loaded with enhancements. I bought the unit for a dual purpose. One to install in my car and two to use on my 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle.
I bought one extra magnetic mount antenna to leave permanently in my car. I was able to totally hide the wires for the antenna. I did however use the cigarette lighter adapter for portability and also used the cassette hookup rather than the fm transmitter. It works very well. I used the suction cup mount for the unit and it also works very well.
For my motorcycle I chose another approach for mounting. I purchase a seperate mount which I was able to snap the unit factory mount into. I also use my cigarette lighter adapter for power and then plugged the unit directly into my radio vs using the fm antenna.
Both approaches totally fulfill my needs and I recommend this unit for anyone who disires a compact unit with tremendous versility.
