Fun and useful, but these last about as long as a Kleenex

While these are useful and fit nicely on the flash, but for more than $20 I hoped they would last a tad longer. I tried the blue gel first, and it melted on one single shot!

This said, if you haven't tried gels on your flash, you ought to. The improvements are huge.

Me gusta el producto

muy buen producto, un poco dificil de usar, lastima que no incluye documentacion mas detallada.

Aun asi, el producto funciona muy bien, y da tonos distintos en las tomas.

Great Item

(5 out of 5) by Purplelace on Sep 5, 2008 (Tennessee)
This gel set is a great addition for my creative lighting system. I use it for my SB-600 along with my strobe lights to give models that creative look. I like the blue gels and I position them on my flash so that they slightly bounce off the model...Great item...

Nikon SJ-1

Great stuff. Havent used the new SJ-2 before so cant compare with that, but for the SB-800, this is extremely useful for creative lighting.

Save your money

Buy a Rosco or Lee sample pack for $5 instead. It's got everything that is in here on more. You'll need some velcro to attach the gels to your flash, but it will work immensely better than this setup.

Nikon should be ashamed of the asking price for this product. Then again, Nikon will try to sell you a public street if you're not careful.

I like Nikon's cameras and OEM accessories. This filter set does not fall into either category. It is, instead, a hardcore screw job by Nikon
