sylvania dvd/vcr

(4 out of 5) by Linda A. Rockwell on Sep 15, 2009 (Fargo, ND USA)
I am very pleased with my purchase. I received the player in a very timely manner.
The price was reasonable for a refurbished machine. It was very easy to hook up.
The only negative is the remote doesn't have an eject button. I cann't find anything else wrong with it. It works!

Dead remote

(3 out of 5) by Jo Ann Crossman on Aug 13, 2009 (Nevada)
Machine in it's self is passable.
However the remote was DOA and the seller doesn't seem to be in any hurry to replace it.

bad vcr

(1 out of 5) by Thomas Cooper on Jun 23, 2009 (Albuquerque, USA)
The vcr unit is almost hopeless when it comes to recording. When you play back, the picture keeps rolling. Adjusting the tracking helps little if at all.
Annoying since the recording settings are fairly intelligent.

Sylvania DVD/VCR Dual Deck

(4 out of 5) by Vicki J. Starfire on Jun 17, 2009
The unit arrived quickly and works well. It's hard to find units that still play VCRs. The price was very reasonable. I have given it 4 stars because the remote doesn't always work.

VCR/DVD Player Combo

(5 out of 5) by W. D. Hein on Mar 31, 2009 (Cary, NC)
This VCR/DVD combo is becoming hard to find because it has a built in tuner. I can plug my incoming coaxil cable into the back and run another from my unit to the TV. This is good for me because I don't have a digital set-up.

I have other Sylvania VCR/DVD combos that perform adequately for recording TV programs. The only negative is that you need to record on standard play rather than extended play to get an undistorted picture.
