Great Design, Works Well

(5 out of 5) by The Eagle on Jul 1, 2006 (Waverly, TN)
This wall mount is extremely sturdy. I compared it to one of a similar style at Walmart, but after seeing this one at an electronics outfit, I knew this mount would be much more durable and had a greater range of motion. I used my wall mount with a 32" LCD television. One of the best things about it, was that it needs only one wall stud to support the tv. Once you mount the "arm" section to your television and the base plate to the wall, then you simply lift your television with the arm attached and slide it on to the wall plate. While it hangs freely you take two screws and secure it in place so that it can be knocked off. Thank goodness, you would never be able to lift and hold the entire tv and mount while you screwed it to the wall.
The only negative I have about this mount, is that when I mounted it to the wall, I followed the instruction of using a level to make sure it was perfectly level only to notice that when my tv was hung close to the ceiling, one side was closer to the ceiling than the other. As you push the tv on the mount as far to one side as you can go, which is where I keep my tv, you can see that the arm had just enough lose play in it that the side of the television is slightly out of line with the wall mount base. Other than that, this is an extremely well made product. The price may seem high, but when compared to similar products, it gives you good looks and great function. Wait to you feel how heavy it is.

Review of function and attractiveness of product.

I looked for some time before finding and using this product. It works beautifully. The television supported by your product fits smartly against the wall. It is easily pulled away from the wall and turned for viewing in either of two rooms. It is easy to tilt the product at a downward angle for better viewing.

Perfect flat screen TV wallmount

(5 out of 5) by Edward L. Ashe on Apr 12, 2007 (USA)
This wallmount unit was everything I was looking for. It was strong, sturdy and good looking with a great deal of flexibility in all directions. It was easy to mount with only one problem, the head of one of the mounting bolts sheered off without much stress, fortunately, I had a replacement.

Compared a bunch of these before buying...

Excellent design and install was easy. Though you'll definetly need 2 people to mount anything larger than a 26". Reason is that the entire assembly mounts to the panel first, then you place the whole thing on the wall mounted base plate and lock with a set screw. Seems a little weird at first, but just their design.
The articulation in all three axis is amazing. Can't imagine not using in room with many seating locations. Example: I sometimes watch news and weather out of the corner of my eye as I work on my notebook pc; I'll end up sitting in every conceivable location of the family room to keep from getting fatigued. So, I'll readjust the panel orientation [with one hand] to fit my new seat in the room [ie: armchair, sofa, or even way back on the dining room table]. I'll install as second in the master bedroom eventually.

Solid as a rock

A very nice mounting system. My only beef was I needed different length bolts than came with the mount. Once I figured that out, I had the TV up on the wall in a matter of minutes. They sell this exact unit at Best Buy for $250.00 bucks.
