We also use this in our bedroom. I have it hooked up to a DVR and Panasonic 42inch Plasma. It provides excellent sound with 5 smallish sattelite speakers and a powerful sub-woofer which does an excellent job with providing deep bass. I would not recommend this for use in a larger room.

I use this home theater in my bedroom with my high-def tv and for the price in the small home theater systems category I highly suggest it. Very powerful for a bedroom or living room application. Excellent quality of the speakers and woofer. I do suggest to plan for some new speaker wire, what comes with it isn't the best quality wire, though it works. Takes a little getting use to its opperation. But if you can handle a DVD player or DVR Cable box you're all set.
