I am writing this review cuz I am selling mine here, and I noticed a bad review. I just wanted to address it. I have had mine for over 4 years. I bought it so that I could play mp3 discs, so I could have more music, less discs. It has never disappointed me. I have never had trouble reading a disc, maybe that person got a bad one, which does suck. About the pause button.... well I guess maybe some high end ones have one, I have never had a pause button on my car stereo. if I wanted to "pause" a song on my disc, it is off or go to radio... yes it would be a terrific feature, but I have lived without it for the 15 years I have had cd players in my vehicles, so I don't miss it at all. It is a very, very good system, and I have been very happy with it. Transferred it from my old dodge caravan it was originally bought it for, to our newer kia sedona. My husband had an identical one in his car, but when our new car came with mp3 capabilities and XM, we put the other one in my mom's car. it is a family favorite. Only reason I am getting rid of it, was husband figured if he got xm, then maybe I should have HD and IPod. So that is what we did.

Frankly I'm disapointed in the product. Usually you can trust Sony but not in this case. The unit is horrible at playing mp3's and they did not even include a pause function. I would check others in the line out careful as they may have the same "engineering".

I received this unit as a gift and I just love it. The sound is awesome and it looks sleek too! I love the fact that it plays MP3's too. They sound great! I put all my favorites on one disk and it's easy to locate the songs I want to hear. Button placement was a bit challenging at first but can be mastered.
Definitely worth the price.
