This monitor is nicely made. Even the back cover and the rotating stand piece in the back are made of good-quality material and not mis-fit or manufactured on the cheap. The power button on the bottom of the screen has never broke or malfunctioned, and the monitor looks great after three years of overuse.

very bright. good quality.
one dead pixel after about a year, no additional dead pixels in 2 years.
a little slow in sensing the input from the video card when the machine boots.
the automatic adjustment of brightness and contrast is not working very well, always too bright, i never actually noticed any automatic adjustment depending on room luminosity.

I bought this monitor for my house and the picture quality is exceptional. I have 2 flat screens now and the second one I bought is a cheaper 19" HP model. This SONY blows it away. I didn't realize how different and noticeable the quality would be

This monitor is one of the best I've ever seen. It works perfectly. The picture is wonderful. The controls are great on the monitor. This is my first LCD Monitor and I just love it. If you are thinking about it. Buy this one. It is well worth it.

i liked this monitor a lot. the picture is good. it's also light enough for me to carry. it was easy to hook up. i have had sony monitors before and liked them.
