I don't even know why I'm bothering to rate this, since the radio itself is better suited to a doorstop than an audio component.
Bought this radio for my bathroom a few years back, and was immediately shocked that I even paid the $29 for it. Plastic knobs, plastic face, plastic wood covering... it's all plastic. The sound quality is pathetic, is easily exceeded by even the simplest table radios out there now. I also have a Proton 300, Tivoli Model One and Two, and a Boston Receptor and they all blow this thing out of the water. Thin, no bass response, high frequency roll-off, it sounds like a Walgreens pocket FM radio.
How can anyone say the tuning is good? You can hardly turn the tuning knob! The controls are so stiff, it'll take you half an hour of futzing before you can get centered on a station. But once you get it tuned, don't move! If you change positions in the room, you lose your station!
The build quality looks like it might be okay, but the cabinet is just MDF with a vinyl wrap, the "tuned" port in the back is covered with a Tyvek like material which would mean there is so much resistance it might as well be a sealed box. Upon closer inspection, if anyone bothers opening up the cabinet, they'll find A LARGE, CAST IRON WEIGHT glued to the bottom. Yup, that's right. They glue a huge, heavy weight inside to make you think it's worth the price of admission.
Skip it. Save your money. Get a real table radio, and save this for more important tasks, like anchoring your small fishing boat. Or wrapping it in thinly veiled threats and throwing it through the neighbor's living room window. Or buy a few hundred and build a retaining wall.

Best Sounding Small Radio Arouind!
My first JWIN JX-M202 was a gift from a friend. It is the BEST souning small table top radio around. The case is made of wood and the sound chamber gives this radio the sound and tone of radios costing hundreds of dollars more. I now own four of these radio, I even have one in my work shop. It's the BEST BUY for the money and is superlative to the plastic Asian crap on the market.

Great Buy
For the price it's a great buy! My favorite features are the fine tunning and the antena. This antena is much better than the stringy wire antena that is used on most table radios these days. I also have the Emerson Simplicity High Fidelity AM/FM Table Radio with Companion Stereo Speaker - NR31 which is also a great radio for the price but the JWIN volume, tunning, and reception are much better.
They could have made the cord that plugs into the wall a bit longer . The print for AM and FM stations on the tunning screen are a bit small and that may bother someone when changing to a particular station. Other than that, its a great buy, nice looking radio!
