This is a great replacement stereo for your car. I got mine recently (to replace the factory installed standard Honda stereo) and have already fallen in love with it. The interface is very intuitive to use, only requiring a bit of reading the owner's manual to check on certain features. You have the option of several different input devices, from trunk mounted multi-disc unit to satellite radio. Because of the design, the Pioneer interfaces very well with these units, allowing relatively easy control from inside your vehicle.

The sound output is very good, and gives a very high quality sound. I definitely noticed the difference within moments of putting in the first CD, there was definitely a big increase in the crispness of the sound from the speakers. Tones sounded that much better, and definitely there was a much better range in what you could hear. With good quality speakers, the Pioneer would definitely produce sound that was similar to what you may set up in your home.

My only major fault with the system is that many of the buttons are a little small and hard to use. This means you have to take your attention from the road, unless you decide to use the remote control. IMO, designing a system so that it is better to use the remote control than the main interface is definitely suboptimal, especially if driving a smaller vehicle. I think Pioneer definitely could have worked a bit on this. Otherwise, the interface looks very nice, and is a good addition to any vehicle (especially if you are looking for something that is affordable).

This unit was packed safely and arrived quickly in excellent working order. The stereo face was better than I expected and the seller was professional in all communications. I would buy from this company again.
