Great headphones

I had bought a pair of these a few backs and recently taken them on vacation and lost them. It took me a while to find a pair to replace them but am so happy I waited. I love the sound quality, the ear bugs fit snuggly and comfortable in the ear to cancel out outside sound. Having the brace that fits over the ear prevents them from being accidently pulled out of my ears if I am moving and tug on them. Definetly a great buy and way cheaper than I bought my first pair for, so good in fact that I am buying another back up set just in case.
lightweight, durable, good sounding

I'm not an audiophile by any stretch so I can't comment on sound quality in any meaningful way.
That said, these little 'phone are really good and live up to Sony's reputation for high quality. I've had these for 3 years now and they are still in great condition. I even left them in my jeans pocket and they survived the washing machine.
These earphones come with a 3 or 4 different rubber ear buds so that help me get the fit just right. Super comfortable and secure. Also, the cord is a good length to let you thread it through you clothes in different ways to conceal it.
In summary: I got these for around $30, if you can get it at that price point then go for it.

Product worked for less than a month before left ear bud shorted out. Poor quality.
No more suffering with OEM iPod phones

I'm one of the many that could never get the Apple-supplied headphones to stay in my ears, so I never got full sound or decent bass, let alone comfort. Was a little unsure how the "in-ear" design would feel, but after several months of use, I'm a believer.
The included medium rubber covers were perfect for my ears and have never fallen off. Includes extra sizes to custom fit to your ears. Easy to put the phones on and they stay in place through sweat and physical activity. Mine included an ingeniously designed case that keeps everything neatly out of the way for storage, plus a small box that will just protect the buds themselves if you like to wrap the phones around your iPod after use. You'll notice that with the ear clips it's a little hard to get these phones to wrap flat around anything, so the cases come in handy.
Sound is great, though a little on the booming bass side. Had to adjust EQ to turn bass down from what I was used to. To my ears, these still sound much better than the Apple originals, even when I held those in place for the best sound.
Wires are thin and probably won't hold up to a lot of hard yanking or kinking, but that's pretty much the standard these days. Wish the white version had been in stock to keep that iPod look, but a small price to pay for comfort and great sound.
