So simple and works great!
All you have to do is disconnect the wire to the antenna, not the back of the radio. Plug the wire into your antenna, and the antenna lead into the switching module. Just plug into the FM part of the Sirius unit and your done! Took me all of 2 minutes! Works great!

Works Fantastic: This device eliminated all of my FM radio static.
Easy Install Steps: 1. Disconnect your car's antenna jack from the radio's antenna port. 2. Plug the car's antenna jack into the port on the FM Module Relay. Plug the FM Module Relay into the radio's antenna port. 3. Plug the FM line jack into the FM port on your Sirius radio or your Sirius radio dock. 4. Done.
Greatest thing since sliced bread
I purchased a Sportster 4 when it was only available on a few online sites. Ended up returning it because the built-in FM modulator was absolutely, totally, and completely worthless.
I later found another site that was offering this switching module for free with every purchase of a Sportster 4. I installed it a few days ago, and the difference is absolutely AMAZING!! Not only is the music static-free, it also seems to pack more punch. I guess that's what they mean when audiophiles talk about 'dynamic range,' and the difference is very apparent.
It does make it more difficult to switch the radio from car to car, but this switching module is a must have for the Sportster 4.

Saved by the Modulator
I was siriusly disappointed in my satellite radio experience until I bought this modulator. The sound quality was closer to AM radio, and I got interference from local FM stations as I traveled. This module connects the FM output from the Sirius unit directly in-line on the antenna wire to the car stereo. (May require removal of the stereo to access the antenna wire). It includes a relay that interrupts the signal from the antenna when the Sirius unit is turned on. Turn off the Sirius unit to listen to local FM. All FM interference problems are gone. The Satellite unit will easily overpower even the strongest local FM stations. No more searching for that empty frequency every few hours on the road. And the sound quality is MUCH better. It's at least as good as the best FM, if not quite CD quality now. Sirius should include this module with the kit. It would save them a lot of unhappy customers.
No static on my Satellite radio now!
In the Boston area there are really no signal free FM frequencies. With the internal Sirius satellite radio FM transmitter, I would quite often hear noise from other stations behind the satellite radio audio on whatever dial frequency I chose.
With the SATSWB, there is absolutely no sound but the desired satellite channel. In fact, when I purposely chose a frequency with an FM radio station on it, there was still only satellite radio audio coming through.
It's very easy to connect as long as you can get to your car radio's antenna plug. I did find that I had to buy a 3.5mm to 2.5mm mono plug adapter for the connection to my Sirius radio's FM output jack. Radio Shack carries the adapter.
I have two cars I'm outfitting with satellite radio. For the first car I bought an auxilliary input adapter costing 3 times as much and is harder to install. The SATSWB is an easier solution and works for EVERY make and model of car.
