Love this stereo!

(5 out of 5) by Mack on Jan 31, 2006 (VA)
I've had this thing for over a year, and have had absolutely no problems! I chose this model because other cd/mp3 players seemed like the buttons were too small to reach (like they try to cram too many presets, or try to display "cool" images and sacrifice space) - anyways, I don't like having to take my eyes off the road to see if I'm pressing preset 1 or 3. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the rotary volume control, but I really do. I don't really like the extra "beeps" that you get when changing the volume (seem to come from the unit, not over the speakers) - not sure what that feature is supposed to do, but after a while you learn to ignore it.

I love the remote - you can access just about every feature from the remote, and it only takes a few minutes to get familiar with the controls. This might be considered a "low" or "mid" grade stereo, but it sounds great, gets great reception, and has plenty of features. Like others have mentioned, the AUX port on the front is great for plugging in a portable mp3 player.

I'm getting rid of the car and don't want to take out the stereo, but I would love to get another one for the new car. I'm disappointed that this model isn't around anymore. I really don't like any of the units that I see in the stores.
