PERFECT SOUND CARD

(5 out of 5) by AutoSurfClub on Jan 18, 2006 (West Columbia, SC USA)
This is a perfect surround sound card! Especially if you record from your cable then you know you can't get sound in 5.1! Thats where this card steps up and delievers a crisp quailty sound to your CPU system! & at only $10 who could pass this up?

Not So Compatible....

This sound card was tedious to install on XP and Doesnt work on Windows Vista, go to a local shop and find one of these things in the bins for 2$ dollars

YOU MUST HAVE AN INTEL PROCESSOR TO USE THIS CARD!

(2 out of 5) by A. Varkonyi on Jul 24, 2007 (Seattle, Wa)
I bought this card, and Windows wouldn't recognize it at all. Then I realized that this card is only compatible with Intel Processors with "MMX Instruction Set". Beware! I have an Athlon, and it wouldn't work.

Sabrent SBT-SP6C

(5 out of 5) by David Milanak on Sep 21, 2009 (Pittsburgh,PA USA)
Don't listen to the negative reviews. I have XP and you just insert the card,
put the cd in the drawer and its a very basic setup. Only a few minutes.
Only cost me $6. Doesn't need an instruction booklet! What an
improvement over the built-in 'Realtek'! Anyone who can't do this simple
install, has no business with their hands inside a PC.

Cheap and it works

(5 out of 5) by Scott Ziesmer on Jun 28, 2009 (Columbus, OH USA)
My requirements were not incredibly high when I picked up this sound card. It was a breeze to install, did not require a software disk in windows XP (but it came with one), and it works. Easily an acceptable solution if you have issues with your soundcard and need a cheap replacement.
