USPS PS200 is what it says it is!
I read several positive reviews on this product before buying it. Most were positive. I'm in agreement with that opinion. It does everything that it advertises. Well worth the money.

Holds up well
I've been using this scale regularly for the past 2 years. I occasionally check my package weights from this scale with those from the scale at the post office and I've found them to be reasonably consistent. This scale has been a real time saver over waiting in lines to mail packages!

A great (accurate!) postal scale
Some other postal scales have lots of features (lighs, removable front panels, etc); but as far as I'm concerned there is only one IMPORTANT feature: accuracy.
This scale has it.
I've shipped several items with it. I'm sure this scale will eventually pay for itself; for items I ship in the post office I can weigh with this and know exactly what the cost will be. I've been able to reduce shipping costs by knowing (before I'm in the Post Office) if something is going to be a half ounce into the next cost bracket or something. If it is, I can change my packaging a little and get back down to the lower weight bracket.
It also allows me to charge an appropriate shipping cost if I sell something online, I know what the cost will be, so I'm not overcharging (which buyers hate) or undercharging (which I hate).
All the packages I've compared (this scale vs. the one at the post office) have been within 0.1 ounces. For light First Class packages, or for ones weighing several pounds, it's always been right on.
It does have a tare feature, you put your box or whatever on the scale while turning it on and it zeros with the container. Other than that it's just 'on' and 'off' buttons, no frills but that's fine. Works great for what I need and goes up to 22 pounds.
I saw some other reviews saying they didn't get the power adapter; I didn't have that problem. For the record, it needs a 9v adapter (which was in the box) or 6 AA batteries (6AA x 1.5v = 9v). I'm using it with batteries, no problems. Turns itself off after a few minutes but not so quick that I find I have to turn it back on while using it.

Great!
I leave overseas and our postal service had change where I have to do everything online. There is not always people available to weight your package so I decided to do it from home. I bought this very simple postal scale. Very accurate and easy to use.
I feel like I work now at USPS! I am very happy, I just sent the package with my husband to his work where they collect them and are ready to go!

Disappointed
One star was as close as I could find to "no star". I ordered this scale; the important features were the capabilities of up to 22 pounds and working through a power adaptor as well as 9v battery. When it came, no power adaptor. I called and Amazon.com agreed to send a replacement immediately and provided a mailing label to return the first scale. Well - guess what? The replacement did not include the power adaptor either. SO - read the description and additional details very, very carefully - because it is very contradictory. Not only did the new scales not include the power adaptor, there's a discrepancy in the description between 9v battery and 6 AA batteries. Best to either buy your scales somewhere else or get another model. To be fair, I must add that Amazon.com customer service was very responsive in the replacement(s) and eventual refund.
