Small and simple

Small scale, seems accurate and does what it is supposed to do - weigh letters and small packages. Not good for large boxes even if under ten pounds as the platform is compact.

postal digital scale

I've owed this product a few years. Haven't used it too often but I've been pleased with it when I have used it. It takes alittle while to figure out it functions again because it may be six months or more between uses. Well worth the cheap price.

Defective

Huh. This scale worked fine enough in theory, but basically started falling apart within a few months of owning it, even under very light use.

After about 6 months of use, it stopped recognizing the AC adapter, and so would only run in battery mode. Three months later, it started giving basically random (and ever-increasing) weights for anything put on the scale, and so I had to throw it away.

Not recommended.

Does the job expected

Doing small volume eBay business, this scale is just what I needed to allow accurate shipping pricing on my listings. It registers exactly the same as post office scales. I'm very pleased with it. It saves me time and money
by purchasing my postage on line.

Works great if you plug it in!

Purchased this scale in July and it works fine except for one small problem I encountered today. I needed to use the unit in battery mode for the first time since I purchased it, and discovered that the battery terminals (of my unit at least) do not fit on a standard 9 volt battery.
I tried a couple different brands of batteries (not off brands) and neither brands would fit the terminals. I have contacted Amazon regarding this problem, but it is well over the 30 day refund period. Just something you may want to be aware of before purchasing. Oh yeah, this USPS postal scale was made (of course) in China.
