It takes alittle while to figure out it functions again because it may be six months or more between uses. Well worth the cheap price.

After about 6 months of use, it stopped recognizing the AC adapter, and so would only run in battery mode. Three months later, it started giving basically random (and ever-increasing) weights for anything put on the scale, and so I had to throw it away.
Not recommended.

Does the job expected

I needed to use the unit in battery mode for the first time since I purchased it, and discovered that the battery terminals (of my unit at least) do not fit on a standard 9 volt battery.
I tried a couple different brands of batteries (not off brands) and neither brands would fit the terminals. I have contacted Amazon regarding this problem, but it is well over the 30 day refund period. Just something you may want to be aware of before purchasing. Oh yeah, this USPS postal scale was made (of course) in China.
