Accurate, but difficult to see readout if weighing packages

(2 out of 5) by J. Langfield on Apr 16, 2008 (Denver, CO)
I had this scale & returned it because I was weighing larger boxes. When the box is on the scale, you cannot see the readout. I'm shopping for a scale with a "hold" button or a swing out readout.

Accurate, but best for small packages.

(4 out of 5) by hubba hubba on Feb 3, 2009 (san francisco)
I've been using this scale nearly every day for many months now. It's perfectly accurate and dependable, but incredibly frustrating for all but small packages. Larger packages block the readout, and the weight reading vanishes as soon as you remove the package. The last scale I had held the reading for several seconds, and I'm now looking for another scale that does that, as I've hit my limit for trying to adjust the package "just so" to read the weight, or remove it fast enough, or get down on the floor to try to read it under the package!

Works Great for small packages - so far

(4 out of 5) by A. Norie on Jun 9, 2008 (Hudson Valley, NY)
it took me a few tries before I figured out that it weighs in fractions of an ounce - so I was getting 1.9 etc for really light packages, which means 1.9 ounces. It only shows lbs when it's heavy enough - and it seems to be pretty accurate. I use it to ship things with PayPal shipping via USPS and I have to round up to whole ounces anyway, so it doesn't seem to effect the cost of postage negatively. As far as I can tell, I'm paying exactly what I would if I took it to the post office and had them weigh it, so it works great for me.

PS100 Postal Scale

(5 out of 5) by StarWarsFan on Jun 5, 2008 (Riverside, Ca USA)
Have used this product for 1 month now. I have to say it functions perfectly. I ship a lot of small packages. Scale weighs small, light packages with great accuracy. Have not had any problems at the post office with inaccurate weights. If you have a small business and need to ship small packages, this is the scale you need. It's worth the money.

does what it should do

(4 out of 5) by AcousticSheep, LLC on Jun 4, 2008 (Bellefonte, PA)
It works quite well for my purposes. It's consistent and accurate. It take a few seconds for the weight to equilibrate. My only complaint is that the surface is pretty small, so it doesn't work as well for larger items.
